I started Web Maintained because I kept watching the same thing happen to small businesses I care about: someone pays $3,000–$8,000 up front for a shiny website, the agency disappears, and twelve months later the site is slow, broken in some new browser, invisible on Google, and nobody can get a hold of the person who built it. The site quietly rots. The owner quietly gives up.
So I built a different trade. The custom build is included. I earn my keep through a flat monthly care fee in CAD — hosting, security, backups, the SEO work that keeps you found, and the small edits you will need over time. Plans start with a three-month term, then month-to-month. Most decisions happen by email so they are searchable later. And the things that should be yours — your domain, your content, your photos — stay yours, always.
